ELECTROLUX SEO OVERRIDES MICROSERVICE;
For a number of years, Electrolux AB in Europe, grew its portfolio of websites to 104.
With SEO playing more important role each year in bringing traffic to our brand websites, we simply found that current solution of implementing SEO data is not scalable.
As the amount of SEO data to edit started to pile up, we decided to create a new microservice, which will be able to fulfill all of our needs, while also allowing for importing data rather than editing entries one by one.
The tool we created enables us to:
• alterate basic SEO data – title, descriptions, canonicals, hreflangs, meta robots for any single URL on any ( or all) of our domains;
• a possibility of changing OpenGraph data, such as title , description, type and image – so we could customize our Social Media presence;
• a possibility of adding a JSON+LD structured data to any URL – to help us achieving rich snippets within Google Search;
• a possibility to import and export all of the values for all of the fields with help of excel files – which drastically improved our speed.
